7.7 Transfer case
• Comply also with the run-in regulations; à p. 4 - 1.
7.7.1 General inspection
• Pay attention to any unusual noises made by the transfer case.
• Check the transfer case and the connections for leaks. In the event of leak-
ing consumables;
à Check the oil level, p. 7 - 45.
• Check that pipes and hoses are tightly connected and undamaged.
If any damage is found, report it to Manitowoc Crane Care or an authorised
GROVE dealer or an authorised specialist workshop.

Prerequisites – The truck crane must be raised on outriggers or parked over an inspec-
tion pit.
