The following figure shows the software concept of MATRIX VISION's camera devices:

As shown in figure 2, for the mvBlueFOX3 the mvIMPACT_Acquire interface is stacked on the
USB3 Vision and Genicam layers. The mvIMPACT_Acquire interface internally uses the GenICam
runtime libs, so that it can be considered as an user application written with the GenICam interface.
