3.4.3 - PERSONNEL
The routine maintenance indicated in the manual must be carried out exclusively by authorised and
trained personnel. To perform maintenance on or service components not specified in this manual,
please contact McConnel.
3.4.4 - WORKING UNDER THE MACHINE
If it is necessary to carry out maintenance under the machine, make sure that you have all the
suitable tools to do so. Lift the machine using the relevant hooks on the lift truck, with suitable ropes
or chains (refer to section 7.1 for the lifting operations). Place the machine on suitable supports in a
horizontal position.
DANGER
Do not climb on or get under the machine when it is raised and not properly
supported as indicated in the safety standards.
Make sure that you use cables, chains and lifting means appropriate for the
load and for the lifting of objects.
3.4.5 - KEEPING THE MACHINE CLEAN
The routine maintenance indicated in the manual must be carried out exclusively by authorised and
trained personnel. To perform maintenance on or service components not specified in this manual,
please contact McConnel.
Regularly remove all flammable materials (dry grass and leaves) from the area around the
exhaust pipe, engine, battery and all the points in which they can come into contact with
oil or fuel and therefore ignite.
Clean the machine after use.
Do not use petrol or solvent-based products to clean the machine. Do not clean electrical parts
with water under pressure.
