7.3 - CONTROL STATION – OPERATOR WORK AREA
• The operator must always be at a minimum distance of at least 5 m from the machine.
• The operator should be provided with PPE (shoes, overalls, and goggles). If working in very dusty
conditions, a protective face mask should be worn.
• The operator must try to position him or herself with respect to the machine in the recommended
work cone both to avoid being outside the movement area of the machine and in the area where
objects might be kicked up. Apart from when working on slopes with an inclination of more than
25°, for which the previous instructions should be followed.
