(6). To replace, insert indicator into opening
in instrument panel and secure at lower
right corner with screw and nut.
(7). Remove caps from indicator and
reducer.
(8). Connect reducer to indicator.
I. Reducer, Connectors, Tees and Tubes
Replacement
(1). Disconnect reducers, connectors, tees
and tubes that join the IVSI to the
altimeter and airspeed indicator.
(2). Cap all openings.
(3). To replace, remove caps from reducers,
connectors, tees, tubes, altimeter and
airspeed indicator and reconnect as
shown.
J. Lamp Assembly Replacement
(1). Verify that BATT-OFF-EXT switch is
in OFF position.
(2). Disconnect lamp assembly wire
L528K20 from terminal block TB700-2,
pin D.
(3). Remove wire L528K20 from straps
between TB700-2 and lamp assembly.
(4). Remove lamp assembly mask from
lamp assembly mounting plate.
(5). Remove lamp assembly mounting plate
from instrument panel.
NOTE: If new lamp assembly is to be installed,
the furnished wire L528K20 must be identi
fied, routed, cut to fit, and terminated with
new pin.
(6). To replace, install lamp assembly
mounting plate to instrument panel
and IVSI with screws and nuts.
(7). Route wire L528K20 through opening
in instrument panel.
(8). Install lamp assembly mask to mount
ing plate.
(9). Continue routing wire L528K20
through straps to TB700-2 and connect
to terminal D.
4. Instantaneous Vertical Speed Indicator
Inspection
NOTE: (Ref. Sec. 95-10-00 for Pitot-static sys
tem inspection procedures)
(1). Inspect reducer, connectors, tees, and
tubes for nicks, cuts and abrasions.
Replace any damaged component.
(2). Check lamps. Replace bulb if burned
out.
(3). L/H command T-Panels
:
Inspect bolt light assembly for damage.
Check wire for nicks, cuts or broken
strands. Check pin for proper insertion
in terminal block.
(4). R/H command T-Panels
:
Inspect lamp assembly for damage.
Check wire for nicks, cuts or broken
strands. Check pin for proper insertion
in terminal block.
