6. Inspection
Inspect components of public address and siren
system in accordance with the following:
(1). Inspect condition of wire harness
assemblies and wiring connectors at
control unit, amplifier, and loudspeaker.
(2). Inspect loudspeakers and external
brackets for deformation and damage.
(3). Inspect grommet for deformation
damage, and proper installation.
7. Repair
Repair of public address and siren system is
limited to replacement of defective or damaged
parts as follows:
(1). Replace damaged or frayed wiring and
connectors.
(2). Replace damaged loudspeakers and
external brackets.
(3). Replace grommet. Check proper
installation in doubler as shown in
Figure 201.
