DC VOLTMETER (369D294383)
INITIAL INSTALLATION
1. DC Voltmeter Initial Installation
The DC voltmeter installation consists of a DC
voltmeter, mounting bracket, bolt-lite assem
bly and the necessary hardware for mounting
to the R/H command T-Panel. The installation
also contains the necessary electrical hardware
to splice into the existing electrical circuit.
Procedures in this section may be performed at
operator's discretion and provide complete
instructions for initial installation of the DC
voltmeter.
A. Preparation for Installation
(1). Identify all components.
(2). Check all cockpit electrical switches for
OFF condition.
NOTE: Ensure that BATT-OFF-EXT switch is
OFF.
B. DC Voltmeter Installation
(1). Hold bracket under instrument panel
as shown (Ref. Figure 901) and drill
attachment holes.
(2). Deburr drilled holes and clean up drill
chips.
(3). (Ref. Figure 903) Rivet bracket to
instrument panel.
(4). Install bolt-lite assembly in bracket.
(5). Position voltmeter in bracket and
secure, using screws and nuts.
(6). Connect electrical wiring as shown (Ref.
Figure 902).
C. Weight and Balance Data
Changes in weight and balance resulting from
the DC voltmeter installation are listed (Ref.
Table 901). Ensure that the changes are
incorporated in helicopter weight and balance
records as instructed (Ref. Sec. 08-10-00).
