3. Ammeter Calibration
Special Tools Required
Battery, dry cell, 1 volt
Potentiometer, 5 watt
(1). Connect output of potentiometer to
LOAD stud of ammeter.
(2). Connect potentiometer arm to battery
negative post and ammeter BATT stud
for negative readings.
(3). Reverse battery polarity for positive
readings.
(4). Compare values with calibration table
(Ref. Table 503).

4. Engine Oil Temperature Gauge Calibration
Special Tools Required
Power supply, 28.0 +0.3 Vdc
Variable resistor, 0 − 900 ohms
NOTE: When making calibration checks, dis
connect supply voltage. Disconnect variable
resistor from sensing circuits when measur
ing or adjusting values.
(1). Connect power supply to gauge IGN
stud.
(2). Connect variable resistor between
gauge SEND and GND studs.
(3). Connect gauge GND stud to power
supply ground.
(4). Measure resistance values and compare
with calibration table (Ref. Table 504
for 369D24135-BSC unit, Table 505 for
369D24135-3 unit).
