Patient Preparation
This section contains step-by-step instructions that describe how to prepare patient for a
TelePatch Cardiac Monitor procedure with the Electrode Patch. Follow the skin preparation
sequence as closely as possible. This will greatly enhance the ECG signal quality and optimize
analysis.
Patch Placement for the Tele
Patch Procedure
Step 1 - Identify Electrode Patch Site
For TelePatch Wireless Single Channel
1. LEFT side of chest.
2. Top of patch (Medicomp logo right-side up) near top of breast bone.
3. Bottom of patch angled toward left nipple at a 45- to 60- degree angle.
For TelePatch Wireless Dual Channel:
1. LEFT side of chest.
2. Flay edge parallel to and one inch below collar bone
3. About one inch left of breast bone.
