(1) A de-energizing device such as an isolation switch must be installed between the power grid and the drive to ensure
personal safety during equipment maintenance.
(2) In North America, a time-delay fuse must be used before the drive (FUSE current rating is 225% of the maximum
full-load output current) to avoid fault extension to downstream devices. Refer to Table 4-3 for fuse selection.
