4. On models with a drop box and engine mounted transmission oil cooler, remove the
two anode plugs and drain the seawater.

5. On models with a drop box and drive mounted transmission oil cooler, as shown,
remove the drain plug. Drain the seawater.

6. On models equipped with a seawater strainer, refer to Seawater Strainer.
7. Depending on equipment, apply sealant to the transmission oil cooler drain plug or
anode plugs before installation. Tighten the drain plug securely or the anode plugs to
specification.

8. Place a tag at the helm and in the engine compartment stating that the seacocks are
open and must be closed and all drain plugs and hoses installed, prior to placing the
boat in the water.
