The panels are connected
quickly and eciently with the
EA-assembly lock regardless of
their orientation (Fig.7.1, 7.2).
The lock can be attached on the
frame at any position, and its
5-point contact not only draws
the panels together but aligns
them as well. Only a few hammer
blows are needed to create a
safe connection with perfect
alignment. Since the lock weighs
only 3.3lbs. it can be handled
easily.
Standard lock requirements are
shown in Figure7.4. Additional
locks are required for columns
and outside corners (refer to
respective sections for details).
Panels with aluminum or wood
fillers in between are connected
with the Uni-assembly lock22,
which can accommodate a
maximum filler width of 6.5"
(Fig.7.5).
