Chapter 3 Setup
Setting the HEATER
Post-heater 1and Post-heater 2 are equipped on the
platen.
Here, in addition to the temperature setting of each
heater, the time from the print completion until the heater
to be OFF can be set up.

Press
(MENU)
in LOCAL.

Press to select SETUP 1 to 4,
and press the key.
SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select "HEATER", and
press the key.

Set each heater temperature by pressing
.
Heater selecting : Select by [][] and
press the [ENTER] key
Temperature setting :Set by [][]
Temperature setting of each heater
POST 1:20 50°C
POST 2:20 60°C

Press to serect "OFFTIME" , and
press the key.

Press , set the time until the
heater to be OFF after printing, and press
the key.
Set value: NONE/ 0 to 90 min

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting of Logical Seek
The head’s operation varies depending on the LOGICAL
SEEK settings, as shown in the figure below.

in LOCAL.

Press to select SETUP 1 to 4,
and press the key.
SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select "LOGICAL
SEEK", and press the key.

Press to select a set value, and
press the key.
Set value : HOST / ON / OFF

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting of Overprint
Sets the number of layers in which ink is to be applied.

in LOCAL.

Press to select SETUP 1 to 4,
and press the key.
SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Type of HEATER Function
POST1 Warm up the media after printing.
POST2 Dries ink after printing.
Depending on the usage environment, the
temperature on the screen on POST 1 side may
decrease.
