Open the front cover.

Remove the fitting.
Pull out the fitting by holding the protrusions at
both ends.

Remove the wiper cleaner.
Pull it to the front to remove it.

Insert a new wiper cleaner.
Slide it all the way in to install it.

Attach the fitting.

When replacement is complete, press the
key.

Close the front cover, and press the
key.
After its initial operation, the machine returns to
step 1.
Replacing the Cap
The cap (PN:SPC-0842) is a consumable item. If the cap
becomes dirty or gets scratches, or nozzle drop outs do
not change even after cleaning (suction failure), replace
with the new cap.

Press
(MENU)
in LOCAL.

Press to select
"MAINTENANCE", and press the
key.
The MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.

Press to select "STATION
MAINT.", and press the key.

Press to select "CARRIAGE
OUT", and press the key.
The carriage moves over the platen.

Open the front cover.

The Cap is an optional item. You can buy one
through your local dealer or from our service
office.
