Setting a AUTO Power-off
When no operation has been performed for the set time,
the power supply is automatically turned "OFF".

(MENU)
(twice)
in LOCAL.
• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select "AUTO POWER
OFF", and press the key.

Press to select a set value, and
press the key.
• Set Value : none, 10 to 600min

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting Take-up unit
For the "TAKE-UP UNIT" settings, set the following items:
• Use / do not use sub take-up unit.
• Operation when pressing ON/OFF button of sub take-up unit.

Press to select "TAKE-UP UNIT",
and press the key.

Press to select "Sub Take-up
Unit", and press the key.

• "Sub Take-up Unit" will be selected.

press the key.
• Set Value : ON / OFF

Press , and press the key.
• "Sub Take-up SW" will be selected.

Press to select a set value, and
press the key.
• Set Value : Continuance/ Temporary
Continuance :
Switching ON / OFF the winding operation when
pressing the switch each time. (Take-up unit in
operation does not stop until press again ON /
OFF switch.)
Temporary :
Do the winding operation only while holding
down the switch. (When release the switch,
winding operation is stopped.)

end the setting.
Setting Top Blower
Set the operation of the top blower in print.
Turn the top blower setting "ON", and you can set the
strength for the blower.

in LOCAL.
• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select "Top blower",
and press the key.

Press to select "ON", and press
the key.
• ON : You can choose the air volume of the
blower.
• OFF: The top blower does not work while printing
process. Proceed to step 6.

Press to select "STRENGTH",
and press the key.

Press to select a set value
(AUTO/ STRONG/ WEAK), and press the
key.
• Set value : ON/ OFF

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting the Display of Media Residual
Whether the screen displays the remaining amount of a
media is set.

(MENU)
(twice)
in LOCAL.
• MACHINE SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select "MEDIA
REMAIN", and press the key.

Press to select ON/OFF.

Press the key.
When the media
remaining amount
display is turned to
"ON"
The remaining amount of a media is
displayed in Remote.
When the media
remaining amount
display is turned to
"OFF"
The remaining amount of a media is
not displayed in the Remote.
• The amount of a media that has been fed by the
printing and jog keys is reflected in the remaining
amount of a media.
• The length of a media (initial value of the
remaining amount) is entered when a roll media is
detected.( P.2-8)
• The setting configured here does not become
effective unless media detection is performed after
the setting has been complete.
