Chapter 4 Maintenance
• The MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.

Press to select " Reset Waste
Ink Volume", and press the key.
• Waste ink tank information is displayed.

Follow the instructions displayed on the
screen to replace the waste ink.

Press the key.
• The waste ink tank amount that is managed in this
machine will be reset.

Pull the waste ink tank stopper to the front.

Pull it to the front to remove it by holding
the waste ink tank handle.

Replace the waste ink tank.
(1) Prepare a new waste ink tank (PN:SPA-
0246) or dispose of the waste liquid from the
current waste ink tank.
(2) Insert the waste ink tank by holding the
handle of the tank.

Close the waste ink tank stopper.

Press the key.
• The ink discharging amount that is controlled by
the machine is reset and the message is
canceled.
• Put a cap on the waste ink tank
removed.
• Contact an industrial waste disposal
company to request disposal of waste
ink.
