 Y-axis Linear Slide checking and greasing
Periodic checking and greasing is required for the Y-axis Linear Slide.
Make sure to unplug the
machine for the
worker’s safety.
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Turn off the circuit breaker (MCCB) for the X, Y gantry at the
rear of the machine.
3. Manually move the gantry to the + limit of Y-Beam. 4. Wipe grease and
dust from the Y-axis Linear Slide using a clean, soft cloth.
1) When the head unit
moves
in power off state, it
may experience load
by mechanical
characteristics. Since
this is not a
mechanical error, try to
move the head unit
slowly.
5. Manually move the gantry to the - limit of Y-Beam.
6. Wipe grease and dust from the Y-axis Linear Slide using a
clean soft cloth.
7. Apply a thin layer of grease along the longitudinal direction
of the linear slide.
