This chapter explains
• Add Elevator Restriction Units
• Add Floor Groups
• Add Elevator Restriction Information to Residents
The elevator restriction feature limits building accessibility by granting the
visitor access only to the destination floor. This prevents the visitor from
accessing non-designated floors.
If the job contains Elevator Restriction Units, then you must copy the elevator
restriction information from the TX3 Configuration and Monitoring Utility to
the TX3 Nano Configurator. To do this, follow the instructions below.
Note: Elevator restriction on the TX3 Nano works only with Elevator
Restriction Firmware version 2.4.x or higher or version 3.4.x or
higher.
In order for the TX3 Nano to use elevator restriction, the job must
include at least 1 TX3 lobby panel or touch screen.
Elevator restriction is configured in the TX3 Configuration and
Monitoring Utility software. See LT-995 TX3 System
