6.1 Add Elevator Restriction Units
Add Elevator Restriction Units
1. Click Elevator.
The Elevator window appears.

2. Click Add Elevator Restriction Unit at the top of the screen.
3. Provide the following information:
Label. Enter the name of the Elevator Restriction Unit as it appears in the
TX3 Configuration and Monitoring Utility Job Tree.
RS485. Specify the RS-485 address of the Elevator Restriction Unit as it
appears in the TX3 Configuration and Monitoring Utility.
IP Address. Specify the IP address of the Elevator Restriction Unit. If the
Elevator Restriction Unit is not connected to Ethernet, then specify the IP
address of the Master node that the Elevator Restriction Unit is connected
to.
4. Repeat these steps for every Elevator Restriction Unit in the job.
5. Click Save Changes.
