1.4 Resetting the engine control unit
1. Turn the starter switch to “ON”. Do not start the
engine.
2. Depress the accelerator pedal to the floor and
keep it there for at least 20 seconds.
3. While still keeping the accelerator pedal
depressed to the floor, pump the brake pedal at
least 6 times.
When the engine control unit is reset, the
indicator (amber) appears on the display for
about 10 seconds.
NOTE:
The engine control unit calculates the engine oil
replacement time. The steps above are necessary
in order to reset the data used for determining the
engine oil replacement time.
2 Clutch control fluid
Recommended oil: FUSO ATF SP III
Clutch control fluid quantity
2.1 Check, addition, and replacement
Have the clutch control fluid checked, added, or
replaced by an authorized dealer.
WARNING
Take care not to spill engine oil as engine oil
on the exhaust manifold or other hot sec-
tions of engine could catch fire. Wipe clean
the oil if spilt.
Replacement intervals
Every 60,000 km
(36,000 miles) or every
24 months
Quantity required 2.0 liters (2.1 qts)
