3.12 Dimensional Measurement
The dimension of a workpiece is determined from the displacement of the XY stage .
The basic measuring procedure is as follows.
① Move the XY stage as one edge of workpiece meets the cross-hair.
② Press the zero button of the X-axis to set the counter zero.
③ Move the XY stage as the other edge of workpiece meets the cross-hair.
④ Take a reading from the counter.
