Warranty
This system has been manufactured under rigorous quality control system of Mitutoyo. In
the event that this system should fail within one year from the original date of purchase
and 3000 hours of use through normal use conforming to the supplied User’s Manual, we
will repair or replace it, at our option, free of charge, upon its prepaid return to Mitutoyo.
Contact your dealer or Mitutoyo Service Center.
However, the following damages may be subject to a repair charge even if damage occurs
within the warranty period. (Also, consumable replacement is subject to charge.)
1 Unit malfunction or damage arising from improper handling, or unauthorized retrofit or
repair by the user.
2 Unit malfunction or damage as the result of moving, dropping, or transporting after
purchase.
3 Unit malfunction or damage due to fire, salt, gas, abnormal voltage, or natural
catastrophe.
The warranty is only valid within the country of the original purchase.
Notes on Overseas Transfer
This product is controlled by the Export Control Regulations. Please contact Mitutoyo
before transferring it abroad.
Purpose of this manual (Descriptive scope)
This manual explains the system configuration, specifications, setup for measurement,
etc., primarily for the measuring main unit. It does not give the description of measurement
and analysis of contour.
For detailed information about measurement and analysis, refer to the “Training Manual”
and “Analysis Program Operation Guide” supplied with the data processing/analysis unit.
