Precautions for Use
This system is a contour measuring machine.
Do not use this system for any purpose other than such measurement.
This system is a precision machine.
Exercise great care when handling this machine. Never bump or apply excessive force
to any of the parts during operation.
Rectify the installation environments. (For detailed information, refer to “2.
INSTALLTION”.)
The installation site should be:
• Free of dust and dirt.
• Free of vibration.
• Close to 20˚C in ambient temperature.
• Free of extreme humidity.
Do not place objects on the measuring main unit .
Placing objects other than a workpiece or your hands on the base of the measuring
main unit could cause an injury or an accident. Do not place them around the measuring
main unit.
Do not touch this machine during operation.
This system is a motor driven measuring machine. To prevent your hands or objects
being accidentally pinched during measurement, do not go near the machine while it is
operating.
Gently place a workpiece.
If units such as the base are subjected to large impact, they could be damaged and a
personal injury could result. Exercise sufficient care in placing workpieces.
Particularly, pay due attention so as not to exert impact on the T-grooves provided for
the base.
Turn off the power during connection or maintenance.
To avoid accidents or electric shock due to malfunction during operation, be sure to turn
the power off before performing connection or maintenance.
Be careful of unexpected movement when replacing the workpiece.
When replacing the workpiece, exercise care to avoid personal injury due to sudden
unexpected movement of the machine.
