General
Check the general condition and cleanness of hoist
Check the condition of fixing of covers
Check condition of warning etc. stickers, readability
Instructions and
log books
Check readability of instructions
Check validity of log book
Limiting devices
Check condition of buffers and buffer end stops.
Check condition and operation of limit switches.
Verify correct operating position of limit switches (if the hoist is equipped with limit
switches).
Check condition and operation of slipping clutch and adjust if needed.
Electrics
Check operation and condition of emergency stop button (only in option with push
button controller).
Check operation and condition of main switch (not in configuration A).
Check condition of wiring and connections.
Check security of fastenings in the electrical cubicle.
Check operation and condition of contactors (not in configuration A).
Check condition and operation of slipping clutch and adjust if needed.
