To remove a widget or other item, you long
press until it gets highlighted and drag it
down to the Trashcan icon at the bottom
of the screen.

To move a widget, icon, or other Home
screen item, long press and drag that item
around the screen. To move it to a
different Home screen, drag your finger to
the very edge of the screen.

Slide your finger off
either side of the screen
to move it to another
Home page.
