3.5 I/O-DC Module
The I/O-DC Module (see Figure 3-8) can control up to 8 DC Latch Solenoids. The
operating voltage may vary from +2 to +49 volts (Defined by Site Configuration definition,
Programming Tool Box). The I/O-DC Module also responds to back indication signals from
8 different field input sensors.
The I/O-DC Module should be located in the slot designated by the Site Configuration
application (Programming Tool Box).
The Special Features of this Module are:
• Output short circuit protection.
• Automatic solenoid detection.
• Software controllable output voltage to operate DC solenoids (+2 to +49 VDC).
