4.1.1 Wire Connections
Using Two Mobile Radios
To connect two Mobile Radios: Port 2 (Intrac) to the Low Power Radio and Port 3 (MDLC)
to the High Power Radio, perform the following wire connections (See Figure 4-2):
1. Connect the CMU power connector to the Power Supply Module “AUX”
connector using the power cable (p/n: FKN4869). When powered on the CMU
LED should light.
2. Connect the CPU Port 2 to the CMU Port 2.
3. Connect the CPU Port 3 to the “High Power” Mobile Radio communications
connector.
4. Connect the CMU Radio to the “Low Power” Mobile Radio communications
connector.
5. For CMU P3 Jumper and Site Configuration settings, refer to Table 4-1.
