Tap SDMMC Mode radio button if an SD or MMC card is installed in the SD slot.
3. Tap ok.
4. A dialog box displays indicating that the EDA must be reset for the change to take effect. Tap ok.
5. Perform a warm boot.
Single Slot USB/Serial Cradle
This section describes how to use a Single Slot USB/Serial cradle with the EDA. For USB communication
setup procedures refer to the MC70 Integrator Guide.
The Single Slot USB/Serial Cradle:
•
Provides 5.4 VDC power for operating the EDA.
•
Synchronizes information between the EDA and a host computer. Refer to the MC70 Integrator Guide for
information on setting up a partnership between the EDA and a host computer.
•
Charges the EDA’s battery.
•
Charges a spare battery.
Charging the EDA Battery
Connect the cradle to power. Insert the EDA into the EDA slot to begin charging.
NOTE Use only a Symbol-approved power supply output rated 12 Vdc and minimum 3.33A. The power supply is
certified to EN60950 with SELV outputs. Use of an alternative power supply will invalidate any approval
given to this device and may be dangerous.
