The following features are available while the MTH800 is in
Local Area Service:
Registration
Attachment
Group Call
Emergency Call
Emergency Alarm
Exiting Local Area Service
When the link with the central network controller is re-
established, the MTH800 exits Local Area Service and the
following occurs:
the MTH800 sounds a tone
any call in progress during Local Area Service is dropped.
Packet Data
The Packet Data (PD) Service allows you to transfer data in a
TETRA system using the Internet Protocol (IP). Check with
your Service Provider for the availability of this feature.
If set up by your Service Provider it is possible to accelerate
the transmission by using the Multi-Slot Packet Data (MSPD)
Service (refer to “Packet Data” on page 143).
For transferring data from a standard computer over the air
connect the computer via the Active Data Cable FKN4897 with
your MTH800. Your Service Provider has to setup additional
applications on your computer.
