4.5.4 Clutch Arm Assembly
The
clutch
arm
assembly
lifts
the
cone
from
the
spindle
when
the
door
is
opened.
To
remove
this
assembly
proceed
as
follows:
A.
Remove
the
Spindle
Speed
PCBA
(see
paragraph
4.5.1.2).
B. Remove
bezel
assembly
(see
paragraph
4.5.2).
C.
On
the
top
of
the
drive
remove
the
seven
screws
from
the
tie
strip
(refer
to
figure
4-6).
D.
Remove
the
four
door
mounting
screws.
E.
Cut
the
shrink
tubing
away and
unsolder
the
wires
from
the
index
LEDs.
Be
sure
to
label
which
wires
go
to
which
leads
on
each
LED.
F.
Remove
the
four
screws
from
the
sides
of
the
frame
which
secure
the
frame
to
the
chassis.
G.
Remove
the
ejector
shaft
support
block
screw
(refer
to
figure
4-12).
H.
Remove
frame
from
chassis.
I.
With a
flat
blade
screw
driver
work
the
clutch
arm
pivot
pin
from
the
frame
(refer
to
figure
4-7).
