4.5.12 Head Load Pad Assembly
To replace the head load pad assembly in Model 41 drives, proceed
as follows (refer to figure 4-1):
A. Manually position head/carriage assembly all the way to the
rear of the drive (Track 00); be sure to push carriage not
the upper arm.
B. Open door.
C. Grip upper arm.
D. With bent nose tweezers, squeeze the plastic piec @s of the
Head Load Pad which protrude through the upper arm and press
until it drops out of the upper arm.
To replace the pad assembly proceed as follows :
