drive
chassis.
I NOTE
Be
careful
of
banging
and
bending
head/-
carriage
upper
arm.
To
replace
the
head/carriage
assembly,
perform
the
preceding
steps
in
the
reverse
order
and
observe
the
following
precautions:
A.
Be
sure
that
the
guide
rods
are
firmly
seated
in
the
drive
chassis.
B.
Route
head
cables
from
head/carriage
assembly
through
chassis
properly.
c.
Be
sure
guide
rod
clamps
are
securely
tightened.
D. Be
sure
carriage
rides
freely
on
guide
rods
after
installation.
4.5.11 Ejector Assembly
To
remove
the
ejector
assembly
proceed
as
follows:
A.
Remove
the
bezel
(see
paragraph
4.5.2).
B.
Remove
the
door
by removing
the
four
door
mounting
screws
(refer
to
figure
4-4).
c.
Remove
the
plastic
fork
mounted
to
the
ejector
shaft
at
the
front
of
the
drive
by
pulling
it
off
(refer
to
figure
4-1).
D.
Remove
the
screw
and
shaft
support
block
located
at
the
rear
of
ejector
shaft
(refer
to
figure
4-12).
E.
Unhook
pressure
pad
arm
torsion
spring
from
under
pressure
pad arm.
F.
Slide
the
ejector
shaft
out
of
the
frame
toward
the
rear
of
drive.
Notice
that
the
ejector
shaft
slides
through
the
pressure
pad
arm.
G.
If
the
ejector
spring
and/or
ejector
block
needs
replacing
remove
the
retaining
ring
at
the
rear
of
shaft,
then
slide
the
spring
and
ejector
block
off
the
shaft.
To
replace
the
ejector
assembly,
perform
the
preceding
steps
in
the
reverse
order
then;
A.
Perform
the
ejector
tension/release
adjustment;
refer
to
table
4-3.
