4.5.6 Track 00 And Track 43 Sensors
To remove the Track 00 or Track 43 sensor proceed as follows (refer
to figure 4-1):
A. Remove the screw at top of chassis holding the sensor
assembly to the drive chassis.
B. Cut the shrink tubing away on all four wires exposing the
solder joints.
c. Proceding one at a time, unsolder a wire from the old
sensor; slip a piece of shrink tubing over the wire; solder
the wire to the same connector on the new sensor.
D. Install the screw which fastens the sensor to the drive.
E. Perform the Track 00 and Track 43 Sensor adjustment; refer
to table 4-3.
