OPTIONAL CONFIGURATION
6.1
INTRODUCTION
The Model 40
Series
can
be
modified
by
the
user
to
function
differ-
ently
than
the
standard
configuration.
These
modifications
can
be
implemented
by
adding
and/or
deleting
jumpers
and/or
using
unused
I/O
pins.
Figure
6-1
shows
the
location
of
the
jumper
connections
on
the
PCB.
Table
6-1
lists
the
standard
jumper
configuration
of
the
Model 40
Series
PCB
as
shipped.
Figure
6-2
illustrates
those
jumpers
installed
on
the
standard
Model 42
drive
as
shipped.
This
section
will
describe
all
of
the
options
which
are
available
to
the
user
and
will
explain
how
to
implement
them.
Table
6-2
lists
these
options
and
their
location
within
this
section.
