Video calls (press the “MENU“ key → select “Settings“ icon → select “Video calls“)
Video calls allows you to change various settings for video telephony.
Other settings Key tones: Turns on/off the key sounds. The key sound is
output when any key is pressed.
Coverage tone: Turns the coverage tone on/off. The service
tone notifies that e616 is in service area.
Auto answer: Turns the auto answer function on/off. When
the headset is attached, this function automatically answers
the call 5 seconds after the call is first received. Valid for all
incoming calls.
Item Description
Camera settings Sets the camera settings for video calls.
Screen mode: Selects the displayed images (other side/my side)
and their screen sizes from My side is smaller, Other side
only, My side is larger, and My side only.
Picture quality: The quality of the image captured by e616 can
be selected from Normal, Better picture (priority on the image
quality), and Faster movement (priority on capturing
movement).
Camera mode: Selects the photo mode to use for video calls
from Landscape mode, Portrait mode, and Night-time mode.
Video call options Sets the video call functions.
Video settings: Selects the image to be sent when making a
video call from Use live video and Use photo instead.
Show timer: Turns the video call time display on/off. This
function displays the call time of the current video call.
Video call service Provides services you might want with video calls.
Voice if no video: Turns the automatic fall back function on/off.
This function switches to voice calls whenever a video call
cannot continue for some reason.
Ignore video calls: Turns the video call rejection on/off.
