Tandem Trunking (Unsupervised Conference) 2 - 825
2. Press Speaker or hang up.
If Program 20-13-10 is set to “0”, the Conference ends and the line keys go out.
If Program 20-13-10 is set to “1”, to manually disconnect the Conference, Forced Trunk Disconnect (i.e., Press
the line key + ∗3 or the service code set of Forced Trunk Disconnect in 11-10-26) must be used by an extension
other than the originating extension.
Method B - Tandem Trunking with Transfer Key
To set up a Tandem Call:
1. Place or answer first trunk call.
2. Press Hold to place the first trunk call on hold.
3. Place a second trunk call.
4. Press the Transfer key.
This sets up an Unsupervised Conference with both outside parties.
The line keys for the trunks light solid red.
To disconnect the Conference, Forced Trunk Disconnect (i.e., Press the line key + ∗3 or the service code set of
Forced Trunk Disconnect in 11-10-26) must be used by an extension other than the originating extension.
Single Line Telephone
To set up a Tandem Call:
1. Place or answer first trunk call.
2. Press hookflash and dial #1.
3. Place or answer second trunk call.
4. To set up the tandem call, press hookflash and dial #8.
5. Hang up.
This sets up a Conference between both outside parties.
Method C - Tandem Trunking on Hang up
To set up a Tandem Call:
1. Place or answer first trunk call.
2. Press Hold to place the first trunk call on hold.
3. Place a second trunk call.
4. Hang up.
This sets up an Unsupervised Conference with both outside parties.
