disengaging it from two retaining studs.
Reinstall

the front stud first,

stud. Push receptacle forward
until poSitioned correctly.

READING
LAMPS
Optional driver and front passenger reading
lamps are located adjacent
to
. the dome
light.
These lamps are individually
activated by switches in the lamp housing.

ABSORBERS
Optional superlift air adjustable shock
absorbers let you level the
car
under
various loads.
Air
is
added to the rear
shock absorbers as needed. This
is
done
through an air
valve
located at the rear of
the car inside the trunk. A minimum
pressure of
10
to
15
psi (70
to
105 kPa)
should be maintained at
all
times. Mter the
car
is
loaded, pressure may be increased
until the rear
of
the car · returns to the
normal designed riding height, but do not
exceed
90 psi (620 kPa).
NOTICE: Do not use superli/ts
to
raise
azr
above normal designed riding height.
If
superlifts are used in this way for long driving
periods,
severe
damage
may result
to
the
superlifts or the
azr
mounting brackets. Keep
superlifts at minimum pressure

POWER
TRUNK
LID
RELEASE
The control button for this optional item is
located inside the top front
of
the
glove
box. Pushing the button electrically
releases the trunk
lid latch and allows the
trunk
lid
to
swing
open. On station
wagons, the switch unlatches the tailgate
window. The control can only be operated
with the ignition switch in
"RUN ," with or
without the engine running. The control
works independently of the conventional
key-opening operation and will not
inter-
fere with its function.

the instrument paneL Included in this unit
are:
the fuel, temperature and oil gages,
tachometer, voltmeter, trip odometer
