RECOMMENDATION-Use
only unleaded gasoline.
TIRE
INFLATION PRESSURES-Check
at least monthly (including the spare,
unless it
is
a stowaway). Keep inflated
to
pressures shown on the Tire Placard
located on
the
left front door.

ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK-Located on
driver's
side
of
the engine block. Check the
engine oil level when the oil
is
warm, such
as
during a fuel stop. The oil level should
be kept above the
"ADD" line on the
dipsitck.
ENGINE OIL
RECOMMENDA
TIONS-
Use
only
SE
quality oils. The chart under
"Engine Oil Recommendations" will
serve
as a guide for selecting proper oil viscosity.
BATTERY-Your new car
is
equipped with
a Delco FREEDOM battery.
You will never
have
to · add water. The test indicator
provides information for testing purposes
only.
If
you have replaced the FREEDOM
battery with .a conventional battery, check
fluid level monthly. When fluid level
is
low,
add only colorless, odorless drinking water
. or distilled water to bring level
to
split ring
in filler opening.
WINDSHIELD WASHER-Check reservoir
fluid level often.
Use
a washer fluid such
as
GM
Optikleen.
HOOD
RELEASE-Pull the inside release
lever labeled
"HOOD" located
to
the left
of
the steering column. Then pull up on
the outside release lever, located to the
right
of
the center line
of
the hood,
between the front end panel and the hood,
and raise hood.
