      Todd SmithJul 31, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera isn't working, there could be several reasons: * The power might be off. To resolve this, set the power switch to the 'ON' position. * The batteries may be loaded incorrectly. If so, reload them correctly. * The batteries might be exhausted. In this case, replace them with new ones. * The batteries could be temporarily unable to function, so keep them warm while using the camera. * The camera might have shut off to conserve battery. Simply operate the camera as needed. * It may be connected to a computer, which prevents camera operation. Disconnect it from the computer.

What to do if my Olympus CAMEDIA E-100RS Digital Camera won't take a picture?
    • J
      Jennifer WilsonAug 9, 2025
If your Olympus Digital Camera isn't taking pictures when you press the shutter button, here are some possible causes: 1. The flash may not have finished charging. Remove your finger from the shutter button and wait until the flash charge mark stops blinking before trying again. 2. The card access lamp might be blinking after shooting. This means the movie image data is being written to the card. Wait until the lamp stops blinking before shooting again. 3. The card might be full. Replace the card, delete unwanted pictures, or transfer the data to a computer and then delete the pictures. 4. The batteries may have run out. Replace the batteries with new ones. 5. There might be no card in the camera. Insert a new card.

How to fix the wrong date on my Olympus CAMEDIA E-100RS photos?
    • L
      lori67Aug 19, 2025
If the date recorded with your Olympus Digital Camera's image data is wrong, it may be because the date was not set. Set the date in the camera's settings. It is also possible to set the date via a personal computer using CAMEDIA Master. Another reason could be that the camera has been left for approximately one week with the batteries removed, which cancels the date setting. Try setting the date again.
