Release time
The endoscopic live image pauses when the “RELEASE” button is pressed to
record the image onto the PC card. This operation sets the length of time to
pause.
1. Click “ ” of the “Release time (see Figure 9.6 on page 201). The release
times appear in the pull-down menu.
2. Click the desired release time. The selected time is displayed.
The actual release time is the longest one among all release
time settings of the instruments.
Output signal to OEP-4
1. Click “ ” of the “OEP4 mode” (see Figure 9.6 on page 201). The output
signal appear in the pull-down menu.
2. Click the desired mode. The selected mode is displayed.
During displaying in PinP in mode1, the image output is
always SDTV format without reference to the endoscope.
OEP-4 cannot print HDTV and SDTV images on the same
page. If HDTV images follow SDTV images, the Printing
Forcibly message will appear and the HDTV images will be

Setting value Explanation
Mode 1 The video signal (HDTV or SDTV) compatible with the endoscope
type is output. In the mode1, HDTV images and SDTV images
cannot be printed on the same print sheet. In this case, HDTV
images and SDTV images are printed on the separate print sheets.
Mode 2 The SDTV signal is output regardless of the endoscope type.
However, the HDTV signal is output only when the number of
images on the print form is one.
