EVIS EXERA II VIDEO SYSTEM CENTER CV-180
Do not turn the video system center OFF or disconnect the
videoscope while the white balance button is being pressed
or the “Wh/B OK” indicator is blinking. Otherwise, the data
stored on the memory chip of the endoscope may be
destroyed.
When adjusting the white balance, always turn the light
source ON and take care not to expose the distal end of the
endoscope to external light. Otherwise, it may cause an
incorrect white balance adjustment.
Always use the white cap when setting the white balance for
the videoscope used in a non sterilized zone.
Set the brightness level of the light source to “3” or the center
of the adjustment range before adjusting the white balance.
When the color tone is not proper, white color cannot be
displayed properly on the monitor even if the white balance is
set. Adjust the color tone to the center of the adjustable
range.
For normal light observation
1.
Confirm the lighting status of the “Wh/B OK” (Wh/B = White balance)
indicator on the front panel (see Figure 4.9 and Table 4.1).
