This section describes the flow for designing a system that uses a controller other than NJ/NX-series
CPU Unit.

New project settings
Create a project file.
(1) Starting Sysmac Studio
Start Sysmac Studio.
Refer to 3-3-1 Starting and Exiting the Sysmac Studio in Sysmac Studio Version 1 Opera-
tion Manual (Cat. No. W504-E1-08 or later).
(2) Designing a new project
Create a new project.
Select a vision sensor for the category and FH for the device.

(3) Selecting sensor type
Select the sensor type and then establish an online connection.
Refer to step 3 on P. 2-7 of 2-3-1 Creating a New Project File from the Project Window on
page 2-6
