5.5.4 RECHARGING BATTERIES
• Always recharge the batteries in a ventilated area.
• Do not smoke near the charger during the battery charge.
• Do not remain in the wheelchair during charging.
Do not charge batteries in your bedroom. Charging, the
batteries can release harmful gases for your health.
To recharge the motorized tilt mechanism batteries, you need to plug the charger in
a wall outlet of 120 VDC. The wall outlet cable (D) is wound up in the cable winder
placed just behind the backrest on the seat level (see; figure 46).
