D Click [Devices] - [Properties].
E Click [Receive], and then add the check mark for [Enable device to receive] and
click [OK].
F Click [Device Manager] in [start] - [Control Panel] - [Performance and
Maintenance] - [System] - [Hardware].
G Double-click [Modems], and then double-click the internal modem.
H Click [Power Management], add the check mark for [Allow this device to bring
the computer out of standby], then click [OK].
When making the settings in steps A-E above, the battery operation time will be shortened
to some degree.
When not using the Ring Resume function, we recommend removing the check mark from
[Enable device to receive] in the settings in step E.
CAUTION
z When using this function, it is recommended that the AC adaptor be connected to the
computer
