2. Dial the other party's extension number.

a. Tap "Voice Call" to make a voice call.
b. Tap "Video Call" to make a video call (KX-HDV430 only).
4. Talk to the other party.
5. Do one of the following:
a. During a voice call: Tap "Line Status".
b. During a video call: Press / MENU , and then tap "Line Status" (KX-HDV430 only).
6. Tap
or , and then select the original party.
7. Talk to the original party.
3.4.5 Making a Three-party Conference
During a conversation, you can add an additional party to your call and establish a conference call.
Note
• Your phone system may support advanced conference features, such as conference calls with four or
more parties. In this case, the procedures for handling a conference call may be different from those
explained in this section. For details, contact your phone system dealer/service provider.
Making a Conference Call
1. Press / CONF during a conversation.
2. Dial the party you want to add to the conversation.

3. Do one of the following:
a. Tap "Voice Call" to make a voice call.
b. Tap "Video Call" to make a video call (KX-HDV430 only).
4. Press / CONF after the other party has answered.
If you made a voice call to the other party, a voice conference call will be established.
If you made a video call to the other party, a video conference call will be established (KX-HDV430
only).

You can also select a phone number from the call history or the phonebook.
Note
• If you add a party to a video conference call whose phone does not support video calls, that party will
participate with only voice communication. An icon will be displayed instead of a video feed for that
party (KX-HDV430 only).
