3.8 Checking the Line Status
You can check the status of each line (KX-HDV330: up to 12 lines, KX-HDV430: up to 16 lines) on the
display.
In Standby Mode
1. Tap or , and then select "Line Status".
2. Tap or , and then select the line whose status you want to check.
3. Press / CANCEL to end checking the line status or tap the line to perform an action.
Note
• When a function key is assigned as a Line Status key, you can press that function key to display the
line status screen.
During a Conversation
1. Tap "Line Status".
2. Tap
or , and then select the line whose status you want to check.
3. Press
/ CANCEL to end checking the line status or tap the line to perform an action.

Line status indication
For details about the contents of the display, see "Content of the Line Display Screen and the Combined
Display Screen". However, note the following differences:
• You cannot view details or change settings by tapping the icons.
• Only the "Cancel" soft key is displayed. Tapping this key returns you to the original screen.
• Nothing happens when you press
/ HOME .
• Tapping a line will seize it.
• If you display this screen while receiving a call, only lines with incoming calls are displayed.
