3.6 Before Leaving Your Desk
3.6.1 Setting Call Forwarding and Do Not Disturb
You can have incoming calls automatically forwarded to another destination. You can also have incoming
calls rejected (Do Not Disturb).
1. In standby mode, tap
or , and then select "FWD/DND".
2. If the unit has multiple lines, tap or to select the desired line.
3. Select the type of "FWD" or "DND" setting to apply.
The settings are as follows.
"DND"
(All incoming calls are automatically rejected.)
"Fwd(All)"
(All incoming calls are forwarded.)
"Fwd(Busy)"
(Incoming calls are forwarded only when your extension is in use.)
"Fwd(NA)"
(An incoming call is forwarded if you do not answer the call within a certain amount of time.)
4. To set "DND"
a. Select "On" or "Off".
b. Tap "OK".
5. To set "Fwd(All)" or "Fwd(Busy)"
a. Tap "On/Off", and then select "On" or "Off".

c. Set forward phone number.

d. Tap "OK".
6. To set "Fwd(NA)"
a. Tap "On/Off" to select "On" or "Off".
b. Tap "OK"

c. Set forward phone number.

d. Tap "OK".
e. Tap "Ring Count" to specify the number of rings before the call is forwarded.
f. Tap "OK".

When you tap "OK", the subsequent operations can be omitted.

When a phone number is already set or you select "Off", "Next" is not displayed.

You can also set a phone number by tapping "Phone Number" at step a.
Note
When Call Forwarding and/or Do Not Disturb is enabled,
/ and/or / appears in the
status bar in standby mode.
This feature is only available when enabled. Contact your administrator for further information.
