3.5. Configurations for downflow softener, upflow softener and filter
3.5.1. Downflow softener
The valve is mounted with the DF piston kit, part number 61956-01.
The injector is installed in the upper hole and the plug in the lower hole.
3.5.2. Upflow softener
The valve is mounted with the UF piston kit, part number 61956-02.
The injector is installed in the lower hole and the plug in the upper hole.
Note
For upflow configuration, it is highly recommended to use the injector cap 61923-20,
equipped with a pressure regulator.
3.5.3. Filter
The valve is mounted with the filter piston kit, part number 61956-03.
A plug is installed in both holes.
