Before
commencing
to
overhaul
the
cylinder
head
ensure
that all
joints,
gaskets
and any
other
parts
ex-
pected
to
be
required
are available.
Remove any
external
components
from the
vicinity
of
the
cylinder
head cover,
atomisers
and fuel pump.

To Remove the Cylinder
Head
1.
Completely
drain
the
cooling
system.
2.
Disconnect
the
battery
terminals.
3. Remove
the
securing
nuts
and
detach
the
exhaust
pipe
from
the
exhaust
manLold.
Blank
off
the
end
of
the
exhaust
pipe
to
prevent
entry
of
any
foreign
matter.
