4.3.1 Loosen clamp screw 1 of stop crank 2.
4.3.2 Push feed regulator lever 11 fully downwards.
4.3.3 Loosen screw 12.
4.3.4 Turn eccentric bush 13 so that marking 14 faces downward and the edge of the
milled surface is at an angle of roughly 45° to the front side of the machine
(preliminary adjustment for machines with subcl. -911/..; for final adjustment see
section 48).
4.3.5 Tighten screw 12.
4.3.6 In order to show the absence of feed motion more clearly, Insert a screw driver
In the slot of feed driving crank 5 (Fig. 4.0.2).
4.3.7 Place a 22-mm socket wrench on hexagon tension nut 6 and use It to hold feed
regulating shaft 7 fast.
6.3.8 Loosen clamp screw 3 of feed regulation crank 4.
4.3.9 Rotate the balance wheel and simultaneously turn nut 6 on its shaft until the
feed dog (i.e. the screw driverin feed driving crank 5, Fig. 4.0.2) no longer moves.
4.3.10 Hold the spanner In this position and tighten clamp screw 3, making sure that
there Isa clearance of about 8 mm between thrust washer and regulating crank 4.
4.3.11 Check this adjustment (see "Correct setting") and take the screw driver out of
feed driving crank 5 (Fig. 4.0.2).
4.3.12 Clamp screw 1 remains loose for adjusting the stitch condensation.
